Payment Policy

Classes:
  • Payment for all classes must be made upon registration for the class and holds your place in the class.
  • Payments must be made in full at time of registration unless otherwise noted.
  • If the course lasts longer than one month, the fee for all classes must be paid on a monthly basis by the 21st of the prior month. For example, payments for July classes must be made by June 21.  We will accept payments after the 21st of the month for those newly enrolling in classes not yet filled.
  • If payment is not made on time, the student will be automatically unenrolled from the class and will need to re-enroll.
  • If a student decides to discontinue enrollment in an ongoing course, please notify IPA’s executive director at exec.director@imagoarts.org at least two weeks prior to the end of the month currently enrolled.
  • Refunds will not be given for the current month once classes for that month have begun; a student must pay for the entire month of enrollment currently underway.
  • If an instructor misses a class for any reason, a makeup class will be scheduled at the instructor’s discretion. If this is not possible, the student will receive a refund for the missed class.

How to pay:
  • We can currently accept credit and debit cards when you register.  If you do not have a debit or credit card and wish to enroll, please email info@imagoarts.org and we will help you register for classes.

Private Lessons:
  • A student may enroll for half hour or full hour lessons.
  • Scheduling arrangements must be made through the private lesson instructor. Email info@imagoarts.org to indicate your interest. The private lesson instructor will then contact you for scheduling.
  • Payment for one month of lessons must be made prior to the first lesson. If the student begins lessons during a partial month, up front fees will reflect the number of lessons left during that month. For example, if a student begins lessons on the 15th of the month, lessons will be scheduled on the 15th, 22nd, and 29th for a total of three lessons.
  • Students are required to pay for lessons on a monthly basis. Payments are due by the 21st of the prior month. For example, payments for July are due by June 21st.
  • If a student misses a lesson, a make up lesson will be given at the teacher's discretion only if the parent or adult student gives at least a 24-hour notice.  A missed lesson without a prior notice will not be made up.
  • If an instructor misses a lesson, the instructor will notify the student at least 24 hours in advance before the lesson. In the event of an emergency or a weather cancellation, the instructor will text the student to notify them the lesson is cancelled. A makeup lesson will be scheduled that is convenient to both instructor and student.
  • If a student decides to discontinue private lessons, please notify IPA’s executive director at exec.director@imagoarts.org at least two weeks prior to the end of the month currently enrolled.
  • Refunds will not be given; a student must pay for the entire month of enrollment.
  • Please note: If a student is a minor, for the protection of your child and the protection of our staff, a parent or adult responsible for the minor must accompany the student to the private lesson. A chair will be available to the accompanying adult and will be set up outside the door of the room in which the lesson is taking place. The accompanying adult will be able to watch the instructor and child through the glass door or window in the door.

Summer Theatre Camp:
  • Payment for camp must be made in full upon registration and holds your place for camp.
  • We understand that things come up and plans can change.
    • Full refunds will be issued if you wish to cancel your registration before the camp audition date.
    • 50% refunds will be issued if you cancel your registration before the first day of camp.
    • No refunds will be issued for canceling your registration once camp has begun.
    • Cancellations can be made by contacting, Karen Krahn, info@imagoarts.org.

Tuition Discount and Scholarship Opportunities

It is IPA’s desire to make the arts accessible to all those who want to participate but who may be unable due to financial issues. We are currently working to raise scholarship funds to accommodate those who might be in this situation. If interested in this option, please contact IPA’s executive director at exec.director@imagoarts.org to see what funds might be available.

We currently have opportunities for tuition discounts available to those interested in exchanging tuition costs for Imago’s cleaning duties at Vox Dei Community, the venue where we are located. Again, please contact our executive director at the email address above if interested.

Expectation Policy

What You Can Expect from Imago:
  • A quality education in the arts provided by a professional, trained, and experienced staff
  • Instructors who begin and end on time
  • Responses to your questions and concerns within 48 hours of their communication

What Imago Expects from You:
  • Please drop off children for classes at the office door located on Hackberry Street.
  • Please make sure you are on time for classes; instructors will be at the door 5 minutes before class begins but will need to be in the classroom at the beginning of class.
  • Please make sure your children are picked up at the office door in a timely manner. Children will not be released until an authorized adult comes to get them at the door. We suggest you park in the angled parking in front of the church along Hackberry Street.
  • Since Imago is renting facilities from Vox Community, we will not have a common area available to our students and families. We ask that parents do not wait inside the building during their student’s classes (unless required by the class, e.g. Little Artists classes and  private lessons) or bring children who aren’t taking classes into the building with them. If you are coming from a distance and need a place to stay while your children are in classes, there is a Cass County Public Library very close at 1741 E. North Avenue in Belton.
  • Private voice or guitar lessons do require the presence of a parent or authorized adult outside the door of the private lesson room or area. Nursing mothers are welcome to bring their children; however, a close watch must be kept on their behavior. They cannot be allowed to roam the building.
  • Respect for the facilities and their contents.
  • Compliance with our COVID policy.
